Farewell 04: Truths for Moms, For All of Time Transcript

Laura Wifler: This is our final season of the Risen Motherhood podcast, and of course, this has both Emily and I feeling very sentimental. She's going to come in here in a second, but I just want to introduce you guys to the show and welcome you in because we felt like we couldn't go out without one of our trademark Scripture shows. We've been thinking a lot about the legacy we'd like to leave at Risen Motherhood and all that God has done and all that he has yet to do in the lives of all of you.
While Risen Motherhood might end in 2026, the gospel never does, and its applications to motherhood are endless. Our hope and desire is that all of you will continue on with it—living Risen Motherhood—because it was never about the brand. It was about a life sold out for Christ.
With that in mind, we've pulled together Scripture that encourages us, emboldens us, and energizes us as moms to live the gospel in our daily lives.
Emily Jensen: “Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” [Matthew 28:18-20]
“Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. . . . Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
