God promises to always be enough for us in our motherhood calling—even when his provision might look different from what we want or expect.

When we fear our own failure as moms, we can remember that those in Christ never ultimately fail—because his perfect performance has been credited to our account.

When maximizing time and crossing tasks off a list starts to master our lives, we can turn to a better Master—the One who has already accomplished all that we truly need.

Rather than looking around to other moms for the “right” way to parent, we can fix our eyes on Christ, who will give us all the grace we need for our specific situation and family.

Not an innate personality bent so much as a divine fruit of the Spirit, gentleness is something we receive from Christ and then pass on to our children—strength under control.

In times of turbulence, we can comfort our kids by our preparations, our prayers and trust in God’s sovereignty, our presence, and our songs over them.

In the grief and uncertainty of walking our child through a medical crisis, we can hold tight to the Great High Priest who understands our weaknesses and intercedes on our behalf.

When we don't feel like we’re cut out for the difficult work of motherhood, we can remember that God is knitting us together for the good deeds and gospel fruitfulness he calls us to.

Just as we willingly (and repeatedly!) stand by to help our children get dressed, so is the Spirit pleased to help us daily put on Christ’s righteousness.

Though having sick grandparents alters the memories our kids can make with them, the lessons about suffering and eternity they’ll learn in the process are priceless.

As we delight in Scripture and disciple our children in its truths, we show them the joy of putting the Word before the world.

Weakness in motherhood is a reality, but in Christ, it’s also a glorious opportunity to depend on his strength.
