The Abide Method

Similar to the Inductive Bible Study method, our Abide Method is a means of studying the Bible that puts God first. As image bearers of God, we can only understand ourselves correctly through the lens of who he is—his character and purposes. Over time, seeking to understand God himself, through his Word, provides a backdrop for gospel-centered thinking, transforming our own affections and growing us increasingly in his likeness. Could there be a more worthwhile pursuit?

The Abide Method for Moms

If you’re ready to dig deep into God’s Word for yourself, this resource will help you build skills of Observation (What Does the Text Say?), Interpretation (What Does the Text Mean?), and Application (How Does the Text Change Me?). We’ll also walk you through identifying major themes in Scripture and offer other helpful tools to aid your study!

The Abide Method for Kids

The Kids Abide Study Cards help you bring your children alongside you in studying the Bible. These cards, available in both English and Spanish, feature adorable woodland animals acting out four simple steps to studying God's Word that follow the same steps as our Abide Method for adults: Read, Observe, Interpret, Apply. On the back of each card, we've added instructions for what each step entails, as well as simple prompts for engaging your children in discussion. Beautifully illustrated by artist Jess Blanchard, we pray these cards will be a blessing to your whole family. You can also find a video tutorial and more helpful hints below.
